In order to strengthen the construction of class and league while enhancing the exemplary role of the examples, on the afternoon of October 9, the advanced collectives and advanced individuals defense meeting for the undergraduates in the 2022-2023 academic year of the School of Physical Science and Technology was held in conference Room 9557, building 9. Ms. Ma Ying, vice secretary of the party committee, representatives of headteachers of all grades and all undergraduate counselors attended the meeting. And more than 80 representatives from each class watched the meeting on site which was presided over by the counselor Liu Jinrui from batch 2022.

The defense meeting was held both online and offline. The defense of advanced class, model of merit student and outstanding students cadre were proceeded in turn. The on-site judges asked questions and provided commentary according to the responses. The representatives of each class reviewed the measures and working results of the past year in ideological construction, atmosphere-of-learning construction and class style construction, and made further plans for the development of the next academic year at a common base of the current situation. Each student participated in the evaluation of advanced individuals presented from the academic development, student work, scientific research competition, volunteer service and other aspects. The whole report has shown the youthful spirit and enthusiastic attitude of students.

Giving play to the effectiveness of the example and gathering the striving force, the defense not only demonstrated the excellent achievements of the outstanding classes and students of the school, but also created a good atmosphere of positive, active and enterprising in the whole school. And in turn it encourages our students to strive for excellence and strive to grow into the new-era person of all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor.
