In March, the School of Information Management actively participated in the theme education of learning style construction with practical actions.
The College closely followed the pace of students' growth and the development stage of students in each grade, actively explored diversified education models, and strove to implement education in all aspects from key areas such as professional adaptation, analysis of learning situation, career planning, and career development. The holding of this series of activities coincided with the flower season of youth, leading students forward with the power of knowledge and looking forward to the future.
The 2023 part-time counselor Duan Yafang, starting from the fundamental purpose of establishing a correct learning attitude and rigorous style of study, guided students to establish scientific learning methods and norms of behavior. This meeting improved the students' enthusiasm for learning, created a good learning atmosphere, and helped students establish the direction of development.
In order to enable students to fully understand and clarify their own positioning and find their goals, Jiang Keming, a full-time counselor in 2022, and Hu Kaihua, a part-time counselor, analyzed the academic situation of the whole grade of students, guided students to give full play to their advantages and make up for their shortcomings, and implemented the study style observer system to help students form good study habits.
For the class of 2021 students at the crossroads of study and career choice, part-time counselor Meng Yifei carried out the theme of "Postgraduate Entrance Examination and employment choice", inviting counselors and seniors to share experience, broaden students' horizons and strengthen career understanding. It is designed to help students choose the right track according to their personal career interests and abilities.
Class 2020 part-time counselor Liu Jinjie conducted in-depth analysis of the new characteristics of contemporary career development, explored and depicted the future development blueprint of students. Full-time counselor Jiang Keming skillfully used the resume production workshop to guide students to draw their own experience into a powerful career footprint, and fully prepare for entering the society.
In order to deeply implement the theme education of learning style construction and effectively help students solve their confusion in learning ideas and other aspects, at the beginning of the new semester, the college's full-time and part-time counselors settled in Nanhu Building 2 one-stop student community, relying on Keming ideological and political studio, set up a "counselor gas station" to provide students with ideological guidance, academic guidance and other aspects of education services. They set up "peer chat room", through the implementation of peer education, to provide strong support and guidance for lower grade students on the road to grow into talent. Since the implementation of several measures, they received confused students more than dozens of times, and truly achieved the comprehensive development of students.
The College held a seminar for graduates, aiming at understanding the practical difficulties of students, answering their questions and providing guidance for students. Wang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, and Cao Gaohui, Vice President, attended the meeting.
Wang Tao put forward suggestions from the three aspects of "reasonable view", "positive action" and "effective return", emphasizing that students should be clear about the employment situation and choose the development path rationally; Cao Gaohui, in combination with the students' questions, targeted to answer everyone's questions on the re-examination, adjustment and other aspects, to help everyone understand the re-examination process and adjustment methods.
In the future, the School of Information Management will further carry out a series of talks and training meetings to strengthen education and guidance for students with different needs, so as to enhance students' employment competitiveness. It will create more job opportunities and promote the better development of students through visiting enterprises, holding special job fairs, and peer-to-peer assistance.
