In today's highly competitive job market, a well - crafted resume is often the first step towards securing an interview and ultimately landing a dream job. Recognizing this, the “Jingshi” Academic and Career Studio took proactive steps to empower students on December 19th. At noon, the studio successfully organized the second “Resume Clinic in Community” activity, which was held at the “One - Stop” Student Community Comprehensive Service Center in Building 2, Nanhu. This initiative was designed to provide students with targeted assistance in refining their resumes to better align with their career aspirations and development goals.

The event was graced by the presence of four distinguished professional guidance teachers, all of whom are undergraduate tutors with extensive experience in academic and career counseling. These tutors, Zhao Wan, Fan Qidi, Hu Mengxu, and Wu Hongxue, brought their expertise to the table, offering one - on - one guidance to the students. Their collective goal was to not only enhance the students' interview confidence but also instill in them a strong sense of planning and awareness for their future careers.

Throughout the activity, the teachers meticulously reviewed each student's resume, providing tailored advice on layout design. They emphasized the importance of minimizing blank spaces, maintaining a clean and professional overall format, and effectively using subheadings and bullet points to break down information. These design elements are crucial for creating a visually appealing and easy - to - read resume that captures the attention of potential employers.

Moreover, the tutors highlighted the significance of the personal experience section in a resume. They advised students to focus on key achievements, providing detailed accounts of major competitions and awards they had participated in. The inclusion of specific data was also encouraged, as it serves to quantify accomplishments and effectively demonstrate the students' capabilities. This approach not only makes the resume more compelling but also helps to differentiate the students from other candidates.

The teachers further stressed the importance of logical expression in resume writing. A resume should present information in a clear, concise, and well - balanced manner. This means that students need to ensure that their experiences and skills are articulated in a way that flows logically and makes sense to the reader. By doing so, they can effectively communicate their value proposition to potential employers.

In addition to these technical aspects, the teachers also delved into the broader context of career development. They analyzed how students could improve the alignment between their resumes and their interview targets by strategically highlighting relevant experiences and skills. This session was particularly beneficial as it helped students understand how to tailor their resumes to specific job requirements, thereby increasing their chances of success in the job application process.

The atmosphere during the activity was one of engagement and enthusiasm. Students listened attentively to the teachers' suggestions, actively asking questions and seeking clarification where needed. This interactive approach fostered a lively and productive environment, where students felt comfortable sharing their concerns and aspirations.
