It is another back-to-school season, more fresh blood has poured into the big family of CCNU. As a new sophomore, I want to share my first impression of CCNU and the city Wuhan.
One year ago, I stepped on the ground of Wuhan for the first time, being curious towards everything. As the provincial capital of Hubei, Wuhan was undoubtedly prosperous. Colorful neon lights illuminate the streets all night. Even it was very late at night, the sound of cars roaring by had never stopped. That was totally different from my hometown.
After a brief staying out of school for a night, I finally got to meet CCNU formally. What impressed me most were the trees of our school, which were very tall, telling the long history of our school. CCNU had really a lot of plants, regardless of whether they were trees or flowers, here all of them seemed to be in a wild growth. Walking among these lovely little creatures, the mood would also become light.
Then I went to Yun Daiying square, the spring square, Gui Xiangyuan, the dining hall of students... The first time I met CCNU, I admired almost all the “scenic spots” and visited many places. Buildings of old times and modern times stood together, the thick sense of history and modernity left me a deep impression.
The days ahead will be very long and I hope to meet more surprises in CCNU.
