“Oh, it’s a pity to know that you still have to be trapped at your school even during the joyous festival!” That’s the wonder from my former classmates scattering in various localities.
“天呐，你们国庆中秋双节竟然还要呆在学校！“我各地的同学们纷纷对我这次别样的假期表示惊叹。
Time: October 1st. Location: Central China Normal University, Wuhan. All of the college students here, including me, were detained on the so-called isolated campus. After nearly ten months of the outbreak of the COVID-19, most people around the country have embraced their new life. However, life for us who stay in the critical area seems to be a little different.
时间：十月一日，国庆中秋双节。坐标：武汉，华中师范大学。我们全体师生都仍留在学校，人们称之为“隔离校园”。在近十个月的艰苦抗疫后，各地人民都陆续开启了新的日常。然而，对于我们这些正生活在关键地区的人们，生活便显得有点与众不同。
If you ask me whether the days on such an isolated campus are insipid. My answer is no.
如果你问我“隔离校园”中的每一天是否枯燥无味。我的答案则是：其实并不。
The isolated campus is permeated with ordinary but genuine happiness. On the day of the joyous festival, all of our students majoring in education gathered together in the hall, sharing the special mooncakes prepared by our counsellor. Although we may miss the superb movies and the splendid scenery, the inspiration carved in our heart will never fade away when we recall the sincere company of our friends.
校园虽被“隔离”，却时刻洋溢着“小确幸”。双节如约而至，我们教育学院的小伙伴们相聚在会议厅，一同分享学院准备的月饼。尽管大家错过了假日火爆的电影和迷人的景色，但每当想起同学们的真诚陪伴，我们心中便会泛起一阵阵感动。
The isolated campus is an elevation of safety whose soul is interlinked with the outside world rather than a secluded island. What the gate blocks is the virus, but not our spirit. As the qualified modern college students, we have been used to leading a rich life in such a post-pandemic period. We get in touch with the external society in various ways like assimilating current news around the world on the internet, arranging abundant activities to celebrate the festival together with our motherland, and extending heart-felt greetings to our parents. The bonds between the world and us have never sheared off.
“隔离校园”是与外界息息相关的安全高地而非偏安一隅的孤岛。校门阻隔的是疫病的传播，而非我们精神的交流。作为新时代优秀的大学生，我们已渐渐能够在后疫情时代的校园经营属于自己的精彩时光。我们通过多样的方式与社会保持联系，时刻追踪新闻动态，与国同庆双子佳节，电话遥送牵挂祝愿。我们同世界的联系从未断绝。
As the poet Wang Guozhen once said，“Sometimes it rains outside, but we feel fine inside. Sometimes it is fine outside, but we feel rainy inside. It is only us who have the right to decide if we can enjoy an unforgettable day on the isolated campus. In face of such unusual days, some students fell into a sea of worries, some turned dumb as time went by, while the others took the challenges of the critical period. The isolated campus may be a prisoner’s page, it can also become a ladder for us teenagers to climb onto a higher platform. As for me, life on the isolated campus is never monotonous. What about you? it’s up to you to define your days.
诗人汪国真曾经说过：“下雨的时候，心晴也是晴，天晴的时候，心雨也是雨。”只有我们才能决定自己的“隔离”校园生活是否充实。在这段特别的日子里，有人陷入无尽的抱怨，有人随着时间流逝变得麻木冷漠，有人却将挑战化为机遇，不断突破自我。“隔离”校园可能会成为枷锁，但也能变成我们进步的阶梯。于我而言，“隔离”校园的时光从未枯燥。你们呢，现在我把话筒传递给你们。
