With the popularity of various social media, posting photos on social media has been a hot issue. As the proverb says, every coin has two sides. This phenomenon also has its pros and cons.

Roughly speaking, the positive aspects could be listed as follows. For one thing, it can be a smart approach to sharing our interesting life and spreading happiness, especially when we make and post some funny memes. For another, we can record and keep the beauty around us by posting photos online, which will help remind us of the exciting and sweet moments in our backward glance.

However, posting photos, just like anything else, has its negative sides as well. First and foremost, we may leak our privacy unconsciously. Additionally, it may boost the peer pressure or unhealthy competition, which may eventually lead to the terrible trend of posting pictures in order to show off. Last but not least, being addicted to it may cause the lack of attention to our real life. For instance, there are always a large number of tourists who try their best to fight their way through crowds only to take photos, and then rush to other resorts.
