On May 28, the 2021 session of graduate representative forum of School of Mathematics and Statistics of CCNU was successfully held in the lecture hall on the second floor of Building 6. The conference was hosted by the "Shuyuan" learning and development center. Liu Chengzhu, Party secretary of the college, Zhou Yuanyang, President of the college, Zhang Jun, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Tian Jun, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Zuo Guoxin, deputy president of the college; the 2017 head teacher representatives Li Na, Chen Yongfa, Deng Qintao, Qu Lianqiang, Zhang Xiaofei, long Yangjing, Guo Sipei, 2017 counselors Wang Aolin and Wang Mingxin attended the forum. The meeting was hosted by Tian Jun.
At the beginning of the session, Wang Aolin reported on the overall situation of the 2021 graduates and summarized the achievements and shortcomings of 2021 graduates in professional courses learning and job hunting. Then, graduates representatives from different majors shared the problems and put forward suggestions from the aspects of professional curriculum, normal students' skills training, language learning, employment guidance, postgraduate entrance examination guidance, psychological assistance and so on.
The head teachers of graduate class then answered and responded to the students' speeches one by one. From the perspectives of normal students and non-normal students, teachers emphasized that normal students should make clear their career pursuit in time after entering the school. In daily life, they should pay attention to consolidating teachers' professional skills and strengthening the study of professional theoretical knowledge; non normal students should do a good job in career planning as soon as possible, increase the study of applied courses, and strengthen their professional strength.
At the end of the session, Zhou Yuanyang stressed that normal students should not only strengthen skills training, but also pay more attention to learning theoretical knowledge and deeply explore the internal relationship between university professional courses and middle school knowledge. Liu Chengzhu summarized the session and said that the college would seriously consider the valuable suggestions put forward by the graduates and teachers, further adjust and improve the talent training program, and expressed his ardent expectations and sincere wishes to the graduates, hoping that they will continue to show the outstanding style of Mathematics students in their future study and life.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Under the background of comprehensively carrying out the study and education of Party history, the School of Mathematics and Statistics held the session for graduates, which has extremely special significance and value. It provided a platform for graduates to share experience and offer suggestions. The college will also continuously improve the talent training program and implement the student management work, strive to output more talents for the society.
