Winter vacation has always been special for me. The winter vacation is about to begin, in the meantime, it brings in a lot of love, joy and laughter. Each winter vacation gives several memories to cherish for a long-long time. All things I planned to do before had been finished during this winter holiday. I propagandized as well as sold out my dolls which took my favourite virtual character as the prototype, picked up my pencils again to make sketches and spent time with my family, which proved that I didn’t waste my time.
The first thing I realized was it was indeed difficult to be a responsible seller. To make my “child” (in our circle we call the dolls created by ourselves by our children) more perfect, I changed three manufacturers to make a sample, which took a long time. I had to communicate with the customer service agents to confirm details of embroidery and offer proposals to optimize the doll. Moreover, I opened an online store on Youshop APP, set up groups for my customers to receive messages timely, went several places to take photos for my doll to make propaganda pictures, released sale information, reviewed the orders, made a sales form, refunded the price difference and some other things on my own. Although the process was rough, I was very glad to know that there were many hobby friends liked my child. Meanwhile, it was also the reason why I tried my best to bring the dolls to my customers.
The second thing I did was making sketches. I’d learned line drawing for almost six years so I think wasting this skill is a pity. In addition, I want to create fan works for my favourite celebrity as soon as possible. I had finished several sketches but my idol was so handsome that it was hard to catch his charming verve. I know there is still a long way to go for me but I will not abandon my goal.
As is known to all, there are two important festivals during the winter vacation—the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival. So, in my point of view, winter vacation is a time for family reunion. All the family members once again gathered together to share the joy of reunion on the New Year’s Eve. On the second day of the Lunar New Year, I went to visit my grandparents with my mother, they made a special fried snack which was made out of flour, which was really crispy and tasty. Additionally, their simple love containing in the food towards us touched me deeply. If we can’t stay with our parents, then we can come back home often.
I just love winter vacations. They have given me some wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime. These vacations are truly full of fun, frolic and warmth.
