Guangyuan, in general, is a place filled with beauty and it appeals to people all around the world. This is not only the exclamation of Guangyuan’s visitors, but also the voice of local citizens. In the past, Guangyuan was located in the hinterland of the Qinling-Ba Mountains. It was a long way to get there and the resources were weak. People came in high spirits but returned disappointed. Nowadays, the north area where Guangyuan goes out to is Shaanxi, the high-speed roads can directly lead to Xi'an, the air routes to the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta will be fully operational, the steep, rugged roads change into a thoroughfare, attracting countless tourists to come.
大美广元，神往之地。这既是广元来客的感叹，又是本地市民的心声。昔日广元，身处秦巴山区腹地，路途遥远，资源散弱，乘兴而来，扫兴而去；如今，出门往北是陕西，高速直通西安，航线开往珠三角、长三角，天堑变通途，吸引无数游人慕名前来。
In order to make you feel the rich tourism resources of Guangyuan more directly, let me briefly summarize the development of tourism in Guangyuan firstly. Jianmen Pass Beauty Spot has been built into one national 5A level tourist attractions and also including 13 national 4A level tourist attractions, the number of which ranks the second in the province and the fifth in the country. These tourist attractions have a strong historical atmosphere of the culture of the three kingdoms, the culture of the empress Wu Zetian and the culture of the red army, and the enrichment degree of cultural resources ranks the third in the province. With a forest coverage rate of 54.3% and a prominent feature of "big mountains, big rivers and big forests", it is truly a flourishing place where ecology and culture are integrated. Here I would like to introduce some of the most famous scenic spots to you.
为了让大家能够更直观地感受广元旅游资源的丰富，请让我先简括一下广元的旅游业发展——剑门蜀道已建成国家5A级旅游景区1处，国家4A级旅游景区13处，数量居全省第二位、全国第五位。蜀道三国文化、女皇文化、红军文化厚重，文化资源富集度名列全省第三；森林覆盖率54.3%，“大山大水大森林”特征突出，是名副其实的生态与文化交融的盛地。在这里我想向大家介绍其中最著名的几个景点。
When it comes to beauty of nature, Jianmen Pass Beauty Spot always crosses my mind. It is located 15 kilometers south of Jiange county, Sichuan province，it is composed of two adjacent scenic spots, Jianmenguan and Cuiyunlang. The total planning area is 84 square kilometers, the core area is 6 square kilometers, and there are more than 300 scenic spots (areas). The main scenic spots include Jianmenguan, Jiange road, Jianggong temple, Jiang Wei tomb, Deng Ai tomb, Zhonghui ancient fortress, precipitous path, glass landscape platform and so on.
每当谈及自然美景时，我的脑海里总是第一时间想到剑门关。它位于四川省剑阁县城南15千米处,由剑门关、翠云廊两个紧邻景区组成，总规划面积84平方公里，核心区面积6平方公里，有观赏景点（区）300余个，主要景点有剑门关、剑阁道、姜公祠、姜维墓、邓艾墓、钟会故垒、鸟道、玻璃景观平台等。
Both sides of Jianmen Mountain that break midway are the cliffs, which go straight into the sky and the peaks against the sky like a sword. Cliffs break away and two steep walls stand face to face ,making its shape look like a door, so it is called "sword gate".
剑门山中断处，两旁断崖峭壁，直入云霄，峰峦倚天似剑；绝崖断离，两壁相对，其状似门，故称“剑门”。
I hold the firm belief that you must be familiar with the poem "Hard is the Road to Shu" by Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai. “Sword pass is steep and narrow,one man could hold this pass against ten thousand”is the true portrayal of the Jianmen Pass Beauty Spot.
我相信，大家对唐朝诗人李白的诗歌《蜀道难》一定都很熟悉吧。其中的“剑阁峥嵘而崔嵬，一夫当关，万夫莫开”是剑门关的真实写照。
What also worth mentioning is the red army ferry. The red army ferry -- west Wudang mountain scenic spot is the starting point of the long march of the red army, the memorial site of the Jialing river battle, the national patriotism education demonstration base, one hundred national classic red tourism scenic spots, and the national 4A level tourist scenic spot. It contains important tourist attractions such as the merit hall, the monument of ten thousand martyrs, the mausoleum of generals, and the monument of Jialing river battle.
还值得一提的是红军渡。红军渡·西武当山景区是红四方面军长征出发地、强渡嘉陵江战役纪念地、全国爱国主义教育示范基地、全国百个红色旅游经典景区、国家AAAA级旅游景区。其中包含功勋馆、万名烈士纪念碑、将军陵、强渡嘉陵江战役纪念碑等重要旅游景点。
Wudang Mountain tourism area has been built into China's West Wudang, with the Zhenwu palace, Cihang Hall, South gate, Wen bell tower, Yangtian tower and other important tourist attractions, and it is an important place for Taoist cultural activities.
武当山旅游区建成了中国西武当，有真武宫、慈航殿、南天门、闻钟楼、仰天楼等重要旅游景点，是道教文化活动的重要场所。
